How’s that for an earworm?
Ok, I haven’t been around the world, but I do seem to be a lot of different places lately. Thank you so much to those that were able to stop by and see me at SAFF a couple of weeks ago. It was my first show and I was super nervous, so it was sweet and reassuring to see some familiar faces. And thank you for braving the cold! 25F and windy was something else in an open barn. I think I have thawed now though.
I updated my “Where is KSC Designs?” page this morning with some new info, including news that I will be at the 10th Annual Pittsburgh Knit and Crochet Festival! It is going to be a big show this year with Debbie Macomber, Lily Chin and others attending. I am really pleased to have been accepted!
One really fun thing about doing a lot more shows is that I am getting to know a lot of the vendors. I think when you have been doing shows for about the same amount of time as other businesses, you end up in the same location, or relatively close anyway, with them in multiple places. Amy and Scott from Ross Farm Fibers seem to be one or two booths away from me at so many shows! Which is great, because the are great. And their wool is great. Although not necessarily great for my wallet. We got talking at SAFF and decided that we would do a little collaboration! I am making some large box bags for her in Christmas fabrics, and she is adding her beautiful faire isle hat kits. Isn’t that fun? Have a look for them the next time you see Amy and Scott at a show.
If you are in the Blacksburg area this weekend I am going to be at University Mall doing the Y-Fair there. I would love to see you! Anyone else been checking out the abundance of craft shows lately?
