Just love the Smokies, esp. Gatlinburg. So much to see, do, and enjoy. The crafts village is forever. A fantastic trail of the best of Appalachia. Glad you guys were able to celebrate your 5th in such a wonderful place. Congratulations!!!

Great post! But I am disappointed with one thing - no pictures of the hunky (at least in my head) Tennessee cowboy guide?!

The cabin looks like a slice of heaven. Just wow.

I am GLAD you enjoyed your first Coke in YEARS...I remember when you quit! That float definitely looked worth it.

Can't believe it's been 5 years. You guys are a great couple, and I know there will be many more anniversaries to come. Just try to hold on to your ring TJ!

Ack, somehow missed this post until today!

I LOVE that quilt. It's totally modern looking. It looks like the flowered squares are art that is framed by the other fabrics. Belongs in a gallery I think!

I use those fabric sheets (sew on) that go thru your printer. Design 1/4 or 1/8 sheet size on your computer (I usually do two at once, to not waste the sheets) and print. Then I save rest of unused sheet for next time, prepare fabric according to directions, and sew on quilt back. Buy best quality sheets, like Printed Treasures, they're more like fabric. (unlike June Tailor, which is paper-like) Sometimes I'll even machine sew the label right onto backing before quilting!
