    A First For Me

    I have knit many things over the 7.5 years I have been knitting, but one thing I had never done was a skirt. So when Whitney said we should do a knit along of the Bryn Mawr skirt, I thought, why not? The skirt was supposed to be finished in the first part of October, but since I was in Canada at the time, and then in Germany, I knew I was going to be very late.     Feeling Lucky?

    I hope everyone in the States had a good turkey day yesterday and got to spend some time with people you love. I had a good day of getting caught up on work and home stuff, which included a super overdue fabric organization. I have been ordering fabric in larger amounts, but it never comes on bolts. So I went to my Joanns and asked for some of their empty ones. Anything over 2 yards is now on bolts, and anything between 0.5-2 yards is on comic book cards as mini bolts.     It’s Sale Time

    I so want to be able to show you my finished Bryn Mawr skirt. And I really do mean that, because it has been finished for a while. It is sadly sitting upstairs on the bed waiting for a day that isn’t dark and dreary so that I can take a picture. It looks cute, but for now you will just have to trust me. Hopefully this weekend (between going to the Muppets Movie and a hockey game) I will get a chance to take a good pic.
