    A few people have asked me lately for an update on my studio space that we built nearly 4 years ago now (holy time warp). And with my member spotlight up on the MQG site (hi everyone!)     Frostweed Mitts

    A little while ago Julie put the word out on IG that she needed a couple of pattern testers. I needed something quick and easy to help me swing back into my knitting mojo, so I emailed and asked if I could participate! These were so much fun to knit, because it was a simple pattern with great details. For me, that is the best kind – something I don’t have to pay a lot of attention to, but when it is finished, it looks like I spent more time on them than I did.     Finished Monkey Socks

    I generally have a sock project on the go at all times. They are great when I am working at shows to just get a couple rows in here and there. These ones I started in September, and just finished up now. Hot off the needles! I did a picot hem bind off, just to give them a bit more interest. It flops over a bit, but I don’t think it will affect the wearing of them. I have never made myself a patterned pair of socks (even though I think this is about the 6th pair of Monkeys I have knit).
